Building on the success of our previous projects with the Cheese & Grain we were commissioned to develop a concept for providing new rehearsal space and post-production editing suites to complement the Bert Jansch recording Studio. Located at the back of an unpromising public car park, backing onto a live mineral railway, we developed a contextual design that connects the building visually with the Cheese and Grain and provides an additional entrance for the venue. Work is ongoing to develop the scheme to RIBA stage 3.
