A commission for conversion of the rear part of the Cheese & Grain in Frome to a recording studio. The upper floors of the derelict 3-story building were removed and a new independent structure installed to house the studio, accessed from a new ground floor entrance & stair.
The project was partly sponsored by the Bert Jansch Foundation to provide space for rehearsal & recording for professional musicians, recording artists and the local community. The acoustic qualities and design of the studio exceeded the most optimistic expectations and has a growing reputation among top artists including Sir Tom Jones who recently recorded his new album here.
