The house, originally a modest pair of estate workers cottages, was extended in the 1990's. Sadly the extension left the original accommodation unaltered as a series of dark, low ceiling walk-through spaces. The proposals create a new open plan kitchen-dining extension, utilising the original rooms as utility, hall and cloakroom. The project is currently at RIBA stage 3.
