The site for a proposed house lay in difficult narrow strip of 'left over' land bounding a new housing estate in a Somerset village. Overlooking by the new houses was overcome using a roofed pergola to the garden boundary. The scheme was praised by the planning officer for it's resolution of numerous challenges while creating an appealing and appropriate development.
